Promethean in collaboration with management established Cambria Automobiles in 2006 with a strategy to build a balanced motor retail group, through close co-operation with its manufacturer partners and the self funded acquisition and turnaroun of under-performing businesses. Promethean exited the business via a floatation in 2010.
